That Girl Background Left Side
That Girl Background Right Side
THAT GIRL 1966.
This week I will be posting paper doll sets that tied-in with popular TV shows from the 1960's and 70's.
THAT GIRL starring Marlo Thomas was a groundbreaking show in many ways disguised as a silly half hour sitcom. Funny to think now that a show about a young woman living on her own in New York City and making her own way in the world could have been so controversial. The norm at that time was for a girl to stay living with her parents until she married. I can remember newspaper articles back then that focused on her character's "virtue" as if being independent made her a loose woman!
All that aside this is a very nicely drawn three doll set with period appropriate outfits.
I've added a bi-fold background to pose the dolls in front of.
More 1960's TV coming tomorrow!
