These sweet little dolls have a photo-realistic quality and some really nice early 1960's dresses, coats and hats. They remind me of the Vogue pattern paper dolls which were published in women's magazines around the same time to promote their sewing patterns.

IT'S A DATE - PART TWO.

Here is the second part of the big four doll It's A Date set from 1956. Harking back to an era when young people got dressed up to go places. In fact I'm always thinking that a time traveler from 70 years ago would be less impressed by modern technology and more interested in why everyone is wearing their underwear out in public today. We have become a VERY casually dressed society. I'm not sure if that's good or bad actually. Oh, well.....

Most Male/Female doll sets tend to short change the man's wardrobe. Although the girls do have more outfits than the boys in this set from 1956 they have still managed to provide a good selection of interesting clothes for the guys.

This is a big four doll set with lots of outfits so I will be posting Part Two tomorrow.

BRIDAL PARTY 3.

The best Bridal sets came out in the 1950's. Fashions were more tailored then. This set is especially elegant which is how a wedding party is supposed to look in my opinion.

You will find Bridal Party 1 posted on August 5, 2024 and Bridal Party 2 was just posted last month on June 3, 2026.

I think that's enough Wedding themed paper dolls for awhile. More fun sets coming next week!
