She was what was referred to as a "B" movie actress during her Hollywood career, appearing as the female lead beside John Wayne in westerns and occasionally taking supporting parts in A list pictures like PRIDE AND PREJUDICE with Greer Garson and Lawrence Olivier before eventually transitioning into television. Her performing career spanned 80 years and she lived to be 104!
