VICTORY GIRLS IN UNIFORM.
These were issued in little booklets during World War Two and printed on the thinnest of paper which had discolored over the years. I used digital techniques to brighten and enhance the dolls and their clothes. I also added the tab markings to identify what went where. Dolls like these were an important part of the war effort on the home front and today offer insight into the way women dressed for duty and leisure during the mid-1940s.
