DISNEY - LITTLE MERMAID.
Wrapping up our Disney week is the Little Golden Book set to accompany the 1989 animated film of THE LITTLE MERMAID. After struggling artistically during the 1970's and 80's following the death of Walt Disney, the Disney Studios hit gold with this new style of animated feature. Many merchandising tie-in items were issued to cash in on the film's phenomenal success including a number of paper dolls both on it's initial release and along with the revolutionary new technology called "Home Video". And a whole new era of Disney films was born.
