PEG, NAN, KAY & SUE.
This set is nothing if not quietly revolutionary. Four young girls, "Tweens" I imagine as they do not yet appear to be teenagers. The interesting part is the ethnicity of each girl plus the fact that they can share outfits ( Peg and Kay can wear the same clothes and Nan and Sue can also). For 1966 this was a very different and unique view of a better world of inclusivity and equality. I will leave it at that with a sigh.
