SPRING BREAK WITH BARBIE - TROPICAL BARBIE.
It's time for Spring Break and Barbie and Friends will be traveling to warmer climates all week on Paperdollapalooza!
Today Barbie, Ken & Skipper are visiting Barbie's pal Miko in Tahiti. The Miko doll was issued at around the same time as this set from 1986 and was only available for a short time.
The really long hair on all of the dolls (except Ken of course) is unusual for a paper doll set. This led to what I refer to as "Tab Deficiency", not enough tabs to keep some of the clothes on the dolls properly. I have added some tabs to the clothes where needed to try and rectify this problem.
There is also a bi-fold beach background to pose the dolls in front of along with a Tahitian Totem for added atmosphere.
Where will Barbie travel tomorrow?
