DISNEY STARLETS- 1960.
This is a strange little set, reimagining the Disney princesses as if they were starlets under contract to the studio rather than animated characters. Later sets would include Aurora from SLEEPING BEAUTY in the mix but here Annette Funicello (an actual person) has been added. This is no doubt due to her popularity at the time although here she is made to look like an animated character herself. Weird.
Compare this set with the posts for MGM STARLETS - 1951 (Oct. 26, 2023) or PARAMOUNT STARLETS (Dec. 23, 2023).
