Here are the final two dolls from the John Robert Powers set. For costume designers these dolls offer a clear look at the tailored styles of the early to mid 1940s. As we move further away from those periods they become harder to recreate effectively on stage and screen mainly due to changes in body type and the undergarments which gave these clothes their defining silhouettes.
