CHRISTMAS DOLLIES

Doll Trunk Folder Back
Doll Trunk Folder Front

CHRISTMAS DOLLIES.
Here is a collection of four dolls inspired by the bisque toys of Victorian times. Such dolls were treasured and they and their wardrobes were kept in miniature steamer trunks which mimicked the big ones that mother used when traveling.
I have created a folder resembling such a trunk above. I used spray adhesive to affix the pages to poster board before cutting them out. Score the tabs, fold in and glue the front to the back. Score the flap and bend it down over the front. A self-adhesive Velcro dot under the "latch" in front will keep the folder closed yet be easy to open.
Any or all of these 9 inch dolls will fit comfortably inside the "trunk". It is best to have each doll and her clothes and hats in it's own envelope to keep them all separated for easy play.
