BETSY McCALL. Ladies of a certain age may remember starting their love of paper dolls by finding Betsy and her outfits in the back of McCalls Magazine. There was always a little story which usually had to do with the seasons and the holidays, and at least two new outfits that went along with the story.
This set was commercially produced to be purchased in the 5 & 10 stores. I think it captures the spirit of the original magazine doll very well.
[ Since both dolls have the same body shape the clothes will fit either one]
