TAMMY 1965

















TAMMY 1965. Introduced by the Ideal Toy Company in 1962 as a rival to Mattel's BARBIE doll. Tammy was not a fashion model but more the "Girl next Door" kind of doll.
 In 1965 they issued a more adult version which this paper doll set reflects with nicely drawn dolls and outfits.
Tammy was never able to compete with Barbie and she was discontinued in the late 1960's.
