CARMEN MIRANDA. A big movie star in the 1940's and part of the Good Neighbor Policy between America and the South American countries during World War II. She brought quite a bit of color into drab lives back then and this set from the 40's captures her look really well.

[Red Riding Hood Background Left Side]
[Red Riding Hood Background Right Side]
LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD - GOLDEN BOOK. Originally included in the Little Golden Book version of the fairytale, this small set included back and front dolls. I've featured only the front sides here along with a bi-fold background to pose the dolls in front of.

JUNE ALLYSON 1949
JUNE ALLYSON 1949. Here's another example of a paper doll set where the dolls didn't actually look like the star in question. I've attempted to rectify that with my version. THE BALLET CLASS
[Ballet Class background Left Side]
[Ballet Class background Center]
[Ballet Class background Right Side]
THE BALLET CLASS. This set is just too cute. Five little girls and their outfits for both street wear and recital performances. I have added a tri-fold background to serve as the ballet studio to pose the dolls within. This would make a lovely gift for the dance-minded child if presented in a paper folder tied with a ribbon.
