BETSY MCCALL'S VACATION.

Betsy and her parents step out of the pages of McCall's Magazine and go on a vacation. I think this was a Golden Book with accompanying story at one time. Bright 1950's wardrobe and colors make this set and all of the Betsy McCall dolls eternally appealing.

This was a water damaged set. I have digitally cleaned and brightened it as best I could. Little Alice even has a doll of her own with a unique wardrobe.

I love these Spanish paper dolls or Las Munecas Recortables as they are called. Big and colorful with fun fashions which in this case will fit both of the dolls.

It is time for Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday, the last day of plenty before the traditional day of Lent or fasting leading into the Easter season. 

This interesting souvenir paper doll set features the King and Queen with their regal robes plus a couple of ball gowns and tuxedos to fit them out during their official duties.
