FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD

FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD.
This cute pair model costumes from different countries of the World. And since they are the same size they can each take a turn in whatever land they choose. I especially love their little furry friends.

This will be the last regular post for 2024. Starting Monday Dec. 2 is our CHRISTMAS PARADE! All Christmas themed paper dolls and projects every weekday in December! Come and join in the fun!

PINKY & BLUE BOY

PINKY & BLUE BOY.
No, not the famous paintings, but a cute pair from the 1950's. I rather like these dolls with no visible arms thus allowing each outfit to display different poses. Although these clothes are "old fashioned" by today's standards they make me nostalgic for a time when our parents dressed us in appropriate attire for seasons and occasions.

TUCK'S NURERY RHYME POSTCARDS.
The Raphael Tuck & Sons printing company in England produced several paper doll sets. These charming little characters were distributed as postcards around the turn of the last century. Each card included the story of the Nursery Rhyme on the back.
