BETTY HUTTON

BETTY HUTTON. Spunky star of films like Annie Get Your Gun and The Greatest Show on Earth. Here are some of her many film outfits. Note that the space between the arms on most of these needs to remain uncut in order for them to fit properly.
[ The last costume from Greatest Show on Earth wouldn't fit on a single page so cut out the two halves and glue or double stick tape the right side of her body behind the left lining up the images.]

GAIL PATRICK

GAIL PATRICK. Second Lead actress in the 1930s and 40s, Ms. Patrick later turned producer for television and was responsible for the long running series PERRY MASON staring Raymond Burr.
This is a mash up of my own creation from an obscure 40s paper doll set with Gail Patrick's face added.

VIRGINIA MAYO - Dolls 1 & 2

VIRGINIA MAYO - Dolls 1 & 2. She was one of the "Queens of Technicolor" in the 1940s and 50s along with Maureen O'Hara and Arlene Dahl. This was a deluxe 4 doll set from the 1950s with 5 pages of clothes for each doll, 10 great outfits each with hats!
[Dolls 3 & 4 are in the following post]

VIRGINIA MAYO - Dolls 3 & 4

VIRGINIA MAYO - Dolls 3 & 4. Here are the last two dolls in the set. More great outfits and hats!

STAR PRINCESS & PLUTA

STAR PRINCESS & PLUTA. This came out during the first wave of STAR WARS back in the late 1970s. It reminds me more of the Flash Gordon serials. Star Princess sports an impressive intergalactic wardrobe and Pluta the Robot is packing some serious space weaponry. A fun set for pretend space play!

And if you print out these two "Spaceship" pages you can make a sturdy pocket to keep the dolls in. Glue the upper page to the top of a long sheet of heavyweight poster board.
Now glue the bottom page to a sheet of card stock. Line up the middle of the images, overlapping the card stock onto the poster board. Glue just the side and bottom edges down to the poster board and trim all around the combined pages.
Now Star Princess and Pluta can travel the universe in their own Space Vehicle! Have Fun!

LYDIA

LYDIA. You can tell that this doll came out in the 1970's. I have bemoaned the lack of paper dolls representing characters of different ...
